This support group meets weekly via Zoom and focuses on topics relevant to women who have been diagnosed with non-metastatic breast cancer. Meet peers who can relate to the physical and mental aspects along this journey. Breast cancer survivors lead this group with support each month from providers in the Diagnostic Breast Clinic and the Division of Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I have TNBC in my right breast. I was 5 years out when they found DCIS in my left breast. I am scheduled for surgery Jan 4th. My problem is I have come down with a terrible cold. I have no temperature and have taken the home covid test (negative). I am 75 years old. Will it be safe to have this surgery if I am still sick?
