I'm not a doctor but I think they can help if you have a deficiency. I would be careful with B6 or B6 Complex. I was taking a B6 Complex when I was diagnosed (axonal polyneuropathy). My neurologist thought I may be looking at a double-crush and sent me to get labs for B6 toxicity. I was five times the normal limit. Stopped B6 supplements immediately and returned to normal ranges within a out a month.

It took months for the increased pain to clear up.
