@yaz111 We are not medical professionals on Mayo Clinic Connect. We are a community of members who supposer one another and provide suggestions. We cannot diagnose.

What does your grandmother’s doctor say? She was admitted to the hospital so there would be a diagnosis. The best thing to do is to ask to speak with her doctor and if your grandmother has given permission ask for a very frank discussion. You can ask for a diagnosis with an explanation and what the prognosis is such as will she get better? How long will that take? Would physical therapy or speech therapy help?

Had the hospital done a C-scan.. that shows the clots or areas where bleeding happened..or is happening.. certain parts of the brain make sense of what the eyes see.. memories have to mesh with sight.. there are all sorts of neurological specialists involved.. I have a friend who lost peripheral vision on the left side because of a bleeding in a certain part of the brain.. some opticians with training can provide therapy for making visual connections... walking.. but these problems needed prompt attention..
