Hi Nanny 23 -
Everyone finds something different, I think, depending on their pain tolerance, severity and their own body. Today I needed a long hot shower before anything would move.

Usually I am in warm(er) weather in winter, but now in Minnesota. My wake-up was when I let my hands get overly cold on Sunday - misery ever since. Now I remember my Dad's mantra - hat, mittens, warm socks (and long underwear or wind pants.) I pulled out my snuggies, fleece pants and warmest socks and don't even go into the garage without mittens or gloves.

Indoors, I use Voltaren rub to the max on sore spots, as well as an essential oil arthritis rub. (Can't use NSAID's, won't use opioids) Warm water hand soaks between tasks.

We use a heated mattress pad to keep warm at night - best investment ever! Warm the bed before getting in & keep everything cozy overnight.

Now for the hardest one - I make myself move - today I will bundle up for a brief outdoor jaunt, tomorrow in the coming blizzard, I will stretch & dance in the house.

What have you found to relieve your aches?
Sue

Voltaren helps some but nothing works with shoulder. Lately.
