Hello Sheila, I would love to have you share your experiences with Bone Coach in this group - how they handle lab tests and their interpretation in a remote program, and a direct comparison of your DEXA scores now and at 6 months, 1 year, etc.
In the absence of detailed empirical information about the program, we would be able to see how it works for one individual, at least.
Will you share your journey with us? Testing, lifestyle & diet changes, exercise routines, etc?
Sue

Yes, I will share my journey. Yes, I will share it. I asked about the interpretation of the labs, and they said that, as we always see with labs, there will be numbers we can look at to interpret ourselves, but they have already stated that we need to have our own primary care physician, and even a functional medicine doctor, which we can see on zoom. I personally really like Keith McCormick DC. he developed osteoporosis at a very young age and has done a tremendous amount of research, and he has been much more knowledgeable than any of the rheumatologist, and endocrinologist that I have spoken to her that any of my friends have spoken to. So I would see if he could interpret the numbers for me. Boston College does have a more expensive program that includes a doctors interpretation but it’s too much money and I don’t believe it’s necessary because I don’t feel I need any sort of interaction with people. I can self start and do what I’m supposed to. I’ll keep you posted.
