Sugar abstinence for prostate cancer

From what I understand, there is no truth in the statement that cancer feeds or causes prostate cancer. However, what sugar can do, depending on intake amount, cause other issues that will have a bearing on your overall health, which affects any number of health issues. I believe moderation is a good consideration in all that I do. Once diagnosed with advanced metastatic prostate cancer, I have repeatably found myself questioning what I want my "quality" life to be like. I restricted my intake of a lot of things, only to eventually consider that a bit of chocolate and sugar is not going to end my life tomorrow. With several life threatening issues, I now consider my quality of life to be first on my mind. The emotional side of issue is where I tend to struggle. One thing is for certain, you do get to decide what is best for YOU!

Well said Gregorylynn. We need those quality of life reminders. It's about wellness of mind, spirit, and body the best we can.
