Functional medicine looks at the cause and how to fix it. So all the kale and yogurt won't help if you aren't absorbing calcium. One reason I joined was for the functional medicine labs. The functional medicine doctor I know has a months long waiting list.
Also what is the clinical proof for evenity - a drug that was not expected to get FDA approval and has strokes and hear attacks as side effects?

Hello Sheila, I would love to have you share your experiences with Bone Coach in this group - how they handle lab tests and their interpretation in a remote program, and a direct comparison of your DEXA scores now and at 6 months, 1 year, etc.
In the absence of detailed empirical information about the program, we would be able to see how it works for one individual, at least.
Will you share your journey with us? Testing, lifestyle & diet changes, exercise routines, etc?
Sue
