My husband had prostrate cancer in 2003 at 62 and surgery, doctor told me to tell him to find something else to die from, amazing. 2011 he had radiation, so far PSA tests have stayed relatively low but have been slowly increasing still below 5. Whew! He sees a medical oncologist every 6 months who orders blood tests including PSA. He also gets a CT scan every 6 months as one of them showed he had lung cancer in 2018 but it was caught early and he had radiation. It’s a full time job keeping up with tests etc but one has to be proactive one cannot rely on the doctors alone any more.

Hi, my husband will be staring IMRT x 40 sessions next month. How did your husband do with the radiation, side effects? Did he use SpaceOAR Hydrogel? Thank you.
