@jadenr Do you live in the U.S.? If so and if you feel you need to talk to someone you can call 988. That is the National Suicide and Crisis Line. I have talked with people who have called 988 when they were experiencing crises and they felt listened to by the person who answered the phone.

From what you described it sounds like you had a severe anxiety attack. Perhaps a panic attack. If you ever had a panic before? Did something happen recently that you could be reacting to? Sometimes when we are dealing with really difficult situations or trauma our nervous system tells our bodies to react in the ways you've described. I have had panic attacks that felt to come out of nowhere and I know how terrifying these are.

I encourage you to make an appointment with your family doctor to rule out any medical problems that could have contributed to what you've described. Then, if everything medical checks out your doctor can refer you to a therapist - unless you already see a therapist - to help you understand the mind-body connection and help you with coping skills.

How are you feeling tonight?

I have never had anything like that in my life before, and I don't know what could've panicked me that much, but I don't remember much of what I was thinking at the time. I am better today , but even I can tell I'm not back to my usual. I am also trying to make a appointment with my doctor. And thank you.
