I have only had two shots this past year and so far, so good. But I have experienced hair loss in the past due to other treatments as well as a significant family loss. I found a great shampoo that really helped. It's called Pure Biology and I get it through Amazon. It's amazed my hair dresser.
Also, my dentist (whose wife is also on Prolia) has had me switch to an enamel strengthening tooth paste. Prolia can rarely cause significant damage to your teeth and jaw so it's important that your dentist follows you closely.

Which toothpaste did you switch to?

My first shot of Prolia I noticed hair loss. The second shot significantly more hair loss. I doubled up on my multiple vitamins and that is helping. Always used a good shampoo but changed to Olaplex No 4. My hair now seems to be under control. I have decided to go off Prolia because it has affected my bones in my hand and one toe that I broke just before my second Prolia shot. The toe was 80 percent healed and 2 weeks after my second shot the joints in my hands and toe seem to have some form of arthritis. Ex rays were taken but I won’t be seeing my rheumatologist until February.
