@desip. Many cancer centers have a Hope Lodge that is run by the American Cancer Society. The lodging is at no cost to patients scheduled for radiation or chemotherapy treatments. If there is a Hope Lodge where you are getting your treatment then ask the radiation oncology practice about submitting an application for you as it must come from an oncology practice. When I was scheduled for radiation therapy at Mayo Clinic in Rochester this was part of my package for scheduling.

Where will you receive your treatment?
I finished Radiation Therapy at the Mayo Clinic in Phx in Nov 2022. Stayed 40 days at https://helpinhealinghome.org It "worked" for me. They have a waiting list. The Mayo Clinic Social Worker suggested it. I think the American Cancer Society in Phx no longer offers this option. Not sure. Good luck.
I want to thank you all Colleen, Helen, and Smitty. I reached out to Healing Home tolerant about their process. Appreciate your help
I was offered the opportunity to stay at Hope Lodge while having SBRT prostate therapy at Mayo Rochester at no charge in December 2022. This offer is not available to anyone who has not been COVID "vaccinated."
@desip, many hospitals have free lodging for cancer patients. Are you having radiation at Mayo Clinic? If yes, which location?
