Feel like you have the flu?

I got Covid in January 2022. Five days later I got severe body aches that last about two months. Also got insomnia and IBS symptoms which I still have. The body aches got a little better but became severe again several weeks ago. It feels like the flu every day. A rheumatologist diagnosed me with fibromyalgia, which has no cure and no safe drugs that will reliably help with the pain. The rheumatologist wouldn't treat me, just referred me to my primary care Dr, who knows very little about this disease and is too busy to investigate.

I have had these symptoms as a result of COVID, which I was diagnosed with beginning of September 2022. My symptoms are gradually getting better, but it is a VERY slow process. I feel flu like every other day (which is so odd). I am taking many supplements & they seem to be helping. I think this is our bodies trying to fight off the virus side effects of long haul.
