Long haul Covid: exhaustion, confusion and enhanced ADHD
I had Covid at the end of 2020 and early 2021. Thought everything was okay except that I began to feel exhausted almost all day, experiencing a lot of confusion, and enhanced ADHD. I went to a clinic and was diagnosed with the symptoms. I moved to Minnesota and was not able to continue treatment. Is someone here having this kind of symptoms? What have you done about it? People don’t believe this is real.

Im right there with you. One day at a a time 🙏
Hello fellow Post Covid and ADHD people
I have been off work due to post Covid. Tried to return to work but had great difficulty with brain fog, head/facial pressure, et al symptoms.
Was fortunate to have excellent care with Mayo CARP (post covid) physicians, therapists, etc. Yet we’re still learning how to manage this debilitating infection. My current focus of treatment is ADHD. I was diagnosed with ADHD in my late 50’s, but (somehow) I was able to manage it and was highly functional. (Although I’m sure my hyperactivity drove others nuts!). Timing of symptoms indicate post Covid exacerbated my ADHD symptoms. But possibly it is age, or a combination of both?
I’m following this blog to learn what others are experiencing, trying, what works/doesn’t work, etc.
Thank you for sharing your experiences and knowledge.
Me too with enhanced ADHD. It affects my ability to drive safely more than anything. I no longer drive on freeways because my reaction time isn’t fast enough to drive at high speeds now. Right now I’m trying bacopa monnieri supplements at different doses to see if that helps, but haven’t used it long enough to know.
@margaretamada ,
Thank you for sharing. I will look into bacopa monnieri supplements. I hope it works for you. I applaud you for recognizing the impairment(s) that can affect yours and others safety. Thank you.
