Numbness in fingers
I recently noticed some numbness in a few of my finger tips. I noticed that when I touched the computer keyboard that I sometimes am not sure if I hit the key. So, I checked other tactile things and have the same thing. Does this mean a progression. Should I discuss with my doctor? I am not sure.

@26sabrina, I don't think any one can tell you that the new symptoms of some numbness in a few of your fingers are progression of your neuropathy. Other conditions can also cause these symptoms. I would definitely discuss it with your doctor. I also have carpal tunnel syndrome in my hands which causes numbness, tingling and some pain but I don't notice all of the time. I did have a cortisone shot that seemed to help for awhile when I first had the pain in the hands along with some numbness. Here's some information on the topic:
"Finger numbness can be caused by pinched or injured nerves, carpal tunnel, diabetes, or rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Finger numbness can also be a sign of more severe conditions, such as stroke."

Thanks for the info. I have an appointment scheduled in January. I'll discuss it. I have arthritis in my hands so maybe that's an issue.
@26sabrina
Personally I started having numbness and tingling and was originally diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome. Now that has been ruled out and many specialists and tests and my numbness and tingling is from the phizer vaccination.
If you have been vaccinated I would do some research on a website React19 and Twitter also has a lot of information about what the vaccination is causing.
Best of luck, hoping you are not vaccinated ☹️
