In my opinion you should definitely try to determine if you have hyperparathyroidism. I had all the tests you mentioned and had high calcium numbers but was told I did not have hyperparathyroidism. I was advised to proceed with anabolic meds. I was not comfortable taking the drugs and was not convinced that I did not have hyperparathyroidism. I got a telemedicine appointment with a prominent endocrine surgeon who after retesting me said I did have hyperparathyroidism and offered surgery. I continued to research the situation and have received another confirmation from a surgeon (mentioned positively in these posts) that I have hyperparathyroidism. My next step is to try and get an ultrasound of my thyroid for additional information. Your blood tests are the main determining factor. Good luck!
