lecowing - I didn't know either. I am not a diabetic but I'm told I have symptoms of a diabetic with PN. My neuro doc was trying to figure out why I have PN with weird symptoms so I was sent to this other doctor who does this kind of testing, special interest in charcot marie tooth disease. Could I have inherited it? Answer three weeks later was a no. Your dad and sister both have PN... interesting! It was Dr. Colin Quinn, Univ of Pa Hospital.
