@atina, I updated the title of this discussion to reflect your question to bring in other members with end-to-side laparoscopic colon resection. Can you explain more about the type of colon resection you will be getting to help me connect you with others? Will it be:
right hemicolectomy.
left hemicolectomy.
subtotal colectomy.
low anterior resection.
abdomino-perineal resection.
When you say end to side, are you referring to the surgery resulting in an ostomy pouch?

The procedure performed was a laparoscopic low anterior resection with side-to-end 28mm coloproctostomy; no pouch
