I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through I have the same problem with my heels after second vaccine last year and I'm no better.have been tested for everything and they find nothing wrong.doc now at a loss on where to go from here.its so frustrating I spend most my time in the house because I can't walk much.painkillers do nothing for it..
My initial neurological symptom from my Covid vaccine injury was muscle spasms in my toes at night. I did not have heel pain.
I eventually developed sensory and motor peripheral neuropathy. I am much better now at 19 months.
Not much is known in terms of treatment. Based on extensive research, what I would have pursued in the early stages of my injury would have been: alpha-lipoic acid (but I don't tolerate it), palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) to decrease neuroinflammation, 5% Lidocaine patches to control nerve pain at night, and only wearing shoes with heavily padded insoles. The latter step allowed the nerves in my feet to heal. The first neurological test that I failed was the tuning fork vibration test. You might ask your podiatrist to do that test, if they have not already. I also lost both ankle and knee deep reflexes. Also, if the symptoms continue, the doctors should check whether you are ANA positive. If you are positive, they should periodically check your ANA titer. Mine increased 4-fold at the height of my neurological symptoms. Many of us have evidence that the nerve damage is an autoimmune reaction triggered by the vaccine.
