Thank you Lisa. I had side effects right from the 1st treatment which started with mild burning and pain on my sides. I was since told they are adding my booster to the regular daily treatment and since the beam goes side ways it exits the side and could be cause for pain. I finished my 5th today and am terrified of bad burns. I accidentally saw pics from the radiation cream relief product reviews on Amazon that my sister got for me. I would appreciate any tips on how to not get my mind honed in on burns and pain through the rest of the 2 weeks I have.

It’s funny that you say that because I went online to look at photos for another reason and the doctor I was seeing said that in all her 25 years practicing, she’s never seen a patient with symptoms that bad. So much for the internet!

I would use Aquaphor ointment at least four times a day regardless of whether or not I was red.

I also used aloe Vera. I actually had an aloe Vera plant that I bought at Walmart and when I was a little pink, I would cut a bit of the leaves and use the gel from the plant. You can also buy aloe in a bottle.

Did you ask if you can take Tylenol? That may help. I’ll keep you in my thoughts. ♥️
