UPDATE: One week after GREEN LIGHT LASER....revisited urology. Had a test to see what the bladder could hold and expel. I was able to do a constant drip flow, so doctor removed catheter and sent me home. All was going along...had not a flow but a consistent drip of urine....then at 2 AM, my drop stopped and completely plugged again. Back to ER for catheter again. Had another visit to DR, and we are looking at another 2 weeks of catheter and then retry. I was really disppointed, in a bad place. I guess I read too many articles about having the Laser and then "...I was back at work in just 3 days" Lots of this type of comments on the procedure. Dr. explained some people take up to 4 to 6 weeks to recover....Hoping this works out, very depressed.
