Platelet-rich Plasma or Intermittent pneumatic compression therapy

I tried both and nothing came of them. I also tried stem cells several years before and basically donated $10,000 to a good con artist doctor who is still in business. Yes, there are fakes all around us. Treatments, meds, creams, light therapy.....I could keep going. I will soon start acupuncture. What the heck!!!

Has anyone tried PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) injections for Neuropathy
I have tried a few injections, but not sure yet if it's working.
I am going to try to get the injections once a week for a while to see if it works

Where do you have the PRP injected to benefit your neuropathy? I have PRP for tendon and ligament tears but have not tried it for neuropathy.

The PRP is injected back into the arm. Not sure yet if it's working . I thought I would give it a few more tries then
decide if it's worth it. My doctor is trying it as experimental right now.

Is your PRP covered by insurance?

No. It is not covered by insurance. Since it is experimental, my doctor charges what an office call would cost.

I have had 3 sets of PRP injections in my feet . My pain is less than half of what it was . My feet are no longer cold . I have more feeling and better color . I have also had a PRP injection in my right shoulder . The pain has gotten so much better . PRP works . Does it work for all people ? Who knows ?

No PRP injections are not covered by insurance . It costs me $400.00 per set of injections .
