Still struggling through this setback…. I am little over 4 months out now ….. waiting one day for nsaids to get out of my system than tomorrow going to start some stronger dose steroids to hopefully get this capsulitis under control it is painful and very limiting…. My dr yesterday told me no exercise for next week and a half just light stretching and seated knee pull backs ….she did some graston and cold laser which helped with some of the pain and stiffness…,,I am going to continue with pool there are some light exercises I can do in water can not do on land right now……dr also suggested stay off my feet not totally just a little more …. Which I told her you have met my granddaughter she almost 4 and we stay very busy lol ….. I have to find balance even when I take steroids if works still can’t go crazy baking like I want to ……I guess I have been over doing it this is how I got here … but I felt good I went back to work continuing all the things I do with my grandkids after work going from 5 am till 8 pm on some days …. This is my bodies way of slowing me down ….. so now I can stop asking why it happened was doing to much to soon …. My work I will modify to fit what I can do they are great like that …at home adjust accordingly…..I know with few adjustments I will feel good again ….
OH yeah!!! My TKR is better than any weatherman will ever be. Almost three years out and I have had to start wearing a compression knee sleeve again to help with the pain. It probably helps because it keeps it warmer, but not sure. I just know it helps me. Best of luck to you!
