Swelling is still there after 8 years. When i swim the leg swells up. Water therapy did not work. Pain is bad compared to bone on bone knee with PRP. Flexibility is poor even though i worked out to gain flexibility. To much exercise and it swells. Walk down stairs backwards to relieve pain. Sound normal?

No it sounds like my knees before the surgery when they were bone on bone. I'm sorry this happened to you. I'm no Dr. but it sounds like the prosthesis has come loose or was never placed properly.

If it were me I'd get a new surgeon and have a revision surgery. I can understand your reluctance to do this.
