Thank you for sharing your experience and the information about your diet. I was on the jello, broth, sherbet diet for four days while in the hospital. Lost 8 pounds in 10 days between the hip surgery and the perforated colon. For you, 30 days on clear! Wow, that had to be a tough time. How are you feeling now, a year later?? I've tried a "soft" food diet the last couple days.... Activa yogurt, to try and add back the good gut bacteria , soups, with a pancake or toast once a day. With soft food and antibiotics, I still have steady level 4 pain. I will definitely get some Boost Breeze. I'm diabetic, and my readings are higher than usual, so I'll need to check the sugar. Yes, this next month, with Christmas gatherings, will not be about food!

It was tough to be on clear liquids over the holidays! I cried on Christmas because I could not have any of the yummy food. It should have said clears, not cleats! Dumb auto correct. My surgery was in 2019, so quite a bit of healing has taken place. Dr wants me to up my fiber intake now, but have to do it very slowly. Still feel the best on Low residue diet.
Hope you find ways to enjoy the holidays!
