@whengzy19 Your last message indicated that you planned to meet with your gynaoncologist on November 28. How did your appointment go and what is the plan? How are you feeling tonight?

Hi Helen,
Yes I met my oncologist last November 28. She said that based on my biopsy it’s Uterine Cancer. She did a pelvic and anal exam on me. I asked why it didn’t find out on my transvaginal ultrasound, she said that the cancer cells find out from my tissue genes, that only biopsy can see it. The good thing is it’s catches right away before it go far more worst, the bad thing is it’s an aggressive cancer based on my biopsy result as a high grade Adenocarcinoma. Will schedule me for laparoscopic total bilateral hysterectomy , she’ll had to do lymph node test and get some tissue on my abdomen to check if the cell’s metastasis on my abdomen but again before that happens I had to do the standard pre op test, Ct scan and will schedule me also for genetic testing. Once surgery is done will find out the kind of cancer stage and grade and will find out if I need to get chemotherapy. This will happen in 3 to 4 weeks or probably before New Year. She said everything and all answer will get to know after the surgery. I did the bloodwork on November 28 and results came out on the same day. Called me and said that I need to repeat my bloodwork as my hemoglobin are way too low to it’s level, I said that I’m aware of that as my family doctor informed me and advised me to take iron supplement 3x a day. My oncologist said that on my repeat bloodwork will check the level of my iron. She said that if my iron is too low, she will give me an Iron Infusion, she did mention also that I need to get the normal level of my hemoglobin before I go for surgery.
