For anyone living near Indianapolis, the Walk-Ez store in Greenwood does a great job of helping clients pick out the right shoes and designing a custom orthotic. Things are not cheap but the owner does a great job on assisting with both shoes and orthotic inserts.

Have you ever had custom orthotics made? That what I get.
I have heard quite a few complaints about the off-the-shelf orthotics. One person told me they start you out on I have heard quite a few complaints about the off-the-shelf orthotics. One person told me they start you out on what one sad then sell you a more advanced sad and then sell you another set which ends up costing around $1000 or so.
Has that been your experience or do they only sell you one that works for you?
