One month after having a mild covid, I started having painful bloating, cramping and then watery diarrhea. For six weeks. I could only eat a bland, brat diet. I lost 10 lbs. Two trips to my doctor revealed normal labs and stool cultures. I started taking Immodium in the AM, and one carton Activia yogurt AM and PM. The diarrhea stopped. I continue taking the Activia twice daily. Stools return to normal. Still occasional cramping, nothing serious. Still a bland diet, nothing greasy or spicey. Lots of rest. Doing OK. Will never take any more of the covid vax. The spike protein tried to eat my guts, I feel.

Sunny, most yogert products you can buy in grocery stores have a ton of sugar in them(and god knows what else!) With the gut problems you are describing, sugar is NOT your friend. I buy chobani drinkable yogurts when I haven't had time to make my I own. My culture is dead right now or I wouldn't be using a store bought yogurt at all. It's very easy but you will have to purchase an active yeast culture. I know I've seen it on Amazon(I think? Brain fog!) but I got mine from a friend. If you can tolerate it unsweetened, that's best. If you can't handle it, natural sweeteners are the way to go. I have added fruit but it's difficult to seperate it from your culture curds.
Best wishes, Renee
