Thank you, Chris @artscaping. However after checking into Alendronate, it lists one side effect as esophagus problems. I do have problems with my esophagus since I took Boniva several years ago. Still searching! I appreciate your reply.

Good evening again @txmom. Just wanted to let you know that I started this whole journey with Boniva. It lasted two months and was discontinued because of jaw pain and joint pain. The Alendronate did not create the same kind of side effects as Boniva. In fact, I have no side effects.

Just wanted to clear the air here.
