Suggestion: what if the spasms are neurologically triggered? Theywouldn't show up on a test. I am using a combination of 2 supplements to help with neurological pain, which has helped reduce the severity of the joint and neuropathy pain that was my second most critical problem, because I don't take pain killers. The first and overwhelming disability is intractiblr fatigue. Spasms: I would be tempted to try this protocol, since it is noninvasive. Taurine 2x/day between meals. I use Now brand, states supports healthy nervous function. I paired it with Boron, 3 mg., any brand, 2/day spaced out between meals and taurine. Boron is essenal for healthy bones, but I read that it lowers pain. Intuitively, if there is less pain, there is likely healthier functioning. The amounts are so low, there can be no down side. This combination actually blocks my nerve for hours at a time. This use is all intuitive, I never read it anywhere, but it seems to be working. The taurine was recommended by another Mayo Connect member. All the best with overcoming the spasms and enjoying life.

Thank you for suggesting these supplements and details on dosage. I will definitely give them a try.
