Hello Pablo81! The reason the VA recommended Prostate Surgery is because the median lobe of the prostate was growing up and into my bladder. One of the Urologists that I visited, who performs the Rezume’ procedure, told me that Rezume’ would not work in my case because the lobe growing up into my bladder couldn’t be “steamed” for risk of damaging the bladder. It also bothered me that the steamed and decaying Prostate was left in my body, thus the risk for sepsis. I am looking forward to hearing from you after surgery on how it all comes out!
