My son and family have had the Bidet type toilet seats for a couple of years and recommend them also. I rarely got an UTI and can't remember the last time that happened. I do drink a lot of water and am careful and also use wipes after using the bathroom. It's a habit now. I am also very active and try not to sit for extended periods of time. A lot of people who use wheelchairs and prone to UTIs.

You prompted me to look into that type of toilet seat again...it was a funny sensation the first time I used it at my son's house and I like the option that you don't have to use it all the time.
