Sorry to hear you had such a difficult time with The perforated colon and hospitalization. I had laparoscopic sigmoid colectomy in July. Recovery time varies but I think there’s quite a difference between laparoscopic recovery and open recovery. My recovery seemed to take a bit longer than I thought even though I had laparoscopic procedure. Just go in with a positive attitude and I’m sure you will do well.
