Collagen for osteoporosis?

I'm not sure the collagen helps with sarcopenia but it does seem to help with fingernails, skin and hair according to my wife. I've noticed my fingernails are less brittle since taking it. I buy the Vital Proteins brand - posted a link earlier in the discussion here - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/773954/

I think what can help sarcopenia is exercise.
"What is the treatment for sarcopenia?
The primary treatment for sarcopenia is exercise, specifically resistance training or strength training. These activities increase muscle strength and endurance using weights or resistance bands. Resistance training can help your neuromuscular system, hormones."

Yes..all true this! Plus the exercise will help osteoporosis etc. There is no magic to a lot of problems..sometimes it just goes back to basics:eat well from LOTS of non processed foods and exercise. Lots of different exercises too..not just walking. You need weight bearing now more than ever! I got a weighted vest for my walks (build weight SLOWLY to avoid injury) and even for my exercise like squats etc. plus a set of bands snd hand weights helps. The collagen will help with joints a bit.. but the exercises will really do the trick.
