Symptoms: Anyone have nipple drainage before diagnosis?
May I ask if anyone had drainage before diagnosis and what it looked like? Mine dark sometimes clear 51 definitely not pregnant. Nipple has a constant like tingle kinda hard to explain. It doesn't pour just seeps a little right now.

The drainage can be tested....
I had drainage, even ever so slight, from the breast that was later diagnosed with TNBC. It actually didn't drain on its own, only when expressed. My drainage was just a little discolored. I was 54 at the time. No BC in my family. The lump was not easily felt (even by specialists), but was found on the mammogram. Please have it checked out. It might be helpful to rule out any serious health concerns.
I had drainage before diagnosis from both sides and pain that would come and go. Initially I thought it was white as there was the smell of rotten milk when I would rub my fingers over the nipples. I was having ultra sounds and mamo grands every six month due to cysts and pain. The dr did lactaid test and transferred me to breast dr. The breast dr did ultra sound and didn’t see anything. Few months later I noticed the drainage was greenish and I only noticed that due to wearing lighter color bra. Not sure if it was this color before. Again, breast dr wasn’t concerned. It wasn’t until I was having a mamo, a drop of blood came out from the one side that had cancer. I was diagnosed with stage 2 her2+. I can’t help wonder if it would have been caught earlier if I had a better breast dr. I switched after diagnosis.
22 years prior to my breast cancer diagnosis I had bloody discharge due to papillomatosis. I had surgery to remove the papillomas but I think there was a possibility that they were not all removed.
@tpitts0303, any update? Have you been to see an oncologist and testing?
