I take 600 mg of ALA daily as prescribed by my neurologist. I definitely can tell the difference, but I haven't tried the IV.

Are you taking the "R" type of ALA, i.e., "R-ALA" or the "regular" ALA product which is a combination of "R" and "S" types?

How long did the ALA take to reduce your pain level?
