Thank you for reaching out to me my name is Philip and I am the man suffering from intermittent every other day 2nd toe pain. Thank you for offering to do research on my condition. After years of searching the internet and questioning doctors I have not found anything about my condition. I truly hope that the holistic clinic that you are going to tomorrow will be of help to you. I also appreciate very much you offering to keep me in your prayers and I will do the same for you. I definitely believe in the power of prayer and while we may not always understand why some prayers seem to go unanswered in due time we will come to understand. Let me know how your appointment goes tomorrow.
May God Bless You
Philip

Hi Phillip
I went to New Kingdom Holistic Clinic in Burnsville yesterday. I was seen by a nurse practitioner who was incredible! Her name is Jessica Fashant-Peterson. Her phone number is 953-999-0333. Now they are out of network in terms of my insurance so I will have a higher co pay but as sick as I have been I really don’t care! Now they have many clinics but this one was the closest to me. I showed her my thyroid panel, list of diagnosis, talked about my recent Poly myalgia rheumatica diagnosis plus being on prednisone. She was quick in letting me know I need to get off all dairy and gluten. She said that the pain issues can also be from “ leaky gut” caused by gluten/dairy. List of supplements to order. Plan is to see her in six weeks.
Now with your issue, which is different you could call them and ask what provider would be knowledgeable about your issue so you get to the right person first. These New Kingdom clinics are staffed with nurse practitioners plus doctors. They must deal with lots of unusual pain issues as well. Most people that end up there ( I would think) are like us who have not found answers to their issues through ordinary ways. I guess you could say they these people are our last resort, but perhaps should have been our first resort!
She also, after reviewing my thyroid panel say that my body is not converting from T4 to T3. My primary told me the treatment to correct ( adding T3) would cause all kinds of health issues for me plus it is not very successful. She ( the nurse practitioner) called in a prescription for me for Armour Thyroid which I will pick up tomorrow at the pharmacy and begin. I am hopeful it will help as it has a combination of both T4 and T3. Now for several years I have been taking daily 50 mcg of Levothyroxine ( which is T4 only)

and I have not felt one day better, in fact I feel worse. At this point I am going for broke as I really can’t keep going down the rabbit hole of sickness and pain.
Sorry for jumping around here! I did a brief amount of research on your issue and actually found a few things. I will keep going as I only scratched the surface. We know that with your issues and mine, even though they are different there is an answer, The answer is just not easy to get to. What I have realized is that doctors shy away from people who are chronically ill. We are the never ending story of pain and suffering they can’t figure out and it is troubling for them. We are a lot of work. That’s where they drop the ball at times, and then in order to get well we have to do our own research. Unfortunately, we are suffering so much “researching” is too difficult physically and emotionally. I keep plugging along with reading something nearly every say and figure that one of these days I will find the answer. I will start back up tomorrow with your research as I might just find something that might turn the corner for you. I will communicate with you here and let you know what I come up with. Maybe I will be more successful than doing my own research as so far I have not found the “answer”. Oh, one thing this nurse practitioner told me is that most issues are not singular, they are multiple things all tied together so you have to approach the problems like peeling an onion, one layer at a time. That’s what we will do. Break it apart and see what happens. I am a Christian and certainly believe in the power of prayer and modern day miracles. I will pray for you daily and ask God to give you a complete healing. Thanks for responding to my post and let’s keep it going. Hoping a miracle or the “answer” to our issues comes swiftly! God bless you and hoping tonight you sleep well with no pain.
