Hello @ed_85,

My sincere apologies it took a while to reply to your post; you may notice that I moved your discussion and combined it with this existing discussion on Nissen Fundoplication. I thought it would be beneficial for you to be introduced to the many members who have discussed much of what you are experiencing.
If you are replying by email, I suggest clicking on VIEW & REPLY so that you can read through some of the earlier messages and meet some of our other members talking about their or their or their loved ones' experiences.

It seems you are not alone in your frustrations; I'm tagging Mentor @kdubois and @carolynlivingjaks who have written extensively about Nissen Fundoplication, and I'm certain they will share their thoughts with you.

Another discussion on Connect that you may wish to view:
Nissen Fundoplication reversal https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/nissen-fundoplication-reversal/ where @kozlo52 @myskye @katmandoo @peck1944 have also shared their experiences with this procedure.

@ed_85, have you asked your doctor if you could consider the LINX procedure, which is a great alternative to a Nissen Fundoplication? Here's some information about this device: http://www.linxforlife.com

Thank you for your reply. It’s been nothing but problems since having my Nissen. Unfortunately I cannot find a surgeon I’m my state who will reverse it. I’m willing to go anywhere to have it reversed. The link looks like an awesome device but not sure I would want one.
