Doctor recommendation in PHX area

Does anyone have a recommendation for a neurologist who specializes in neuropathy at either the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix or elsewhere in the Phoenix area? My neurologist is a nice guy but he specializes in headaches and epilepsy.

I’m currently being seen at honor health in Scottsdale. Dr Savitt. It is an out patient hospital and so far so good! I had a great doctor too but he specialized in MS. He referred me to Honor health. I had my small nerve neuropathy testing last Monday.

Thanks, both responses are helpful. I should have added that I live up in Flagstaff. I’m not sure if any of the neurologists up here specialize in neuropathy. Besides calling each office, is there a way to check?

You can check their websites. Often they will list the doctors and their specialties. That and calling around is all I know to do. Before you book with one, be sure to know if they do the skin biopsy in case you have small nerve neuropathy vs large nerve. I had a great doctor but couldn’t stay with him because he didn’t do the skin biopsy.

You can check their websites. Often they will list the doctors and their specialties. That and calling around is all I know to do. Before you book with one, be sure to know if they do the skin biopsy in case you have small nerve neuropathy vs large nerve. I had a great doctor but couldn’t stay with him because he didn’t do the skin biopsy.

Thanks. My current neurologist sent me to a podiatrist for the biopsies and to an orthopedic for the electric shock testing to determine that I have small fiber neuropathy.
