I agree John. I also remember a time that ketamine was a BIG NO, NO for anything but horses. LOL Now they are saying that ketamine is a go to over opioids. Yeah, let’s give people hallucinations and nightmares instead of pain relief.

Thank you for your input. A chiropractor wants me to sign up for 18 "hot" laser treatments, which he says will take about 40 minutes each. They would cost $2,700 or about $150 each, which is a lot of out-of-pocket for this old man.
No, not really. But I didn't do it long enouph. I also had nerve pain in my groin that was overwhelming me so decided to try to resolve that first. I will go back to lazer soon. I find it a possibility and feel $60 a session is reasonable to give it a try again.

I did have laser therapy at the toon of $60 for about 3 months 3 times per week and nothing. By the way, medicare did not pay for it.
I now have purchased infrared-type shoes and am doing it for 20 minutes twice daily. It has been over a month and it says it takes at least 3 to 6 months to see any results.
It is approved by the FDA but the cost of the electronic shoes $250.00) is not covered by insurance. But it is a tax deduction just like all medical and medicine is.

I was told by a chiropractor that his laser therapy was not covered by Medicare at all. Can anyone verify this? Thanks.
I have had laser treatments by my pain management clinic and was told the same thing. They charge me $60 a session lasting 17 min each.
