Hi @jthigpen, Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. You'll notice that I moved your message to this discussion where members are already talking about going to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Click VIEW & REPLY to scroll through past posts.

I say, YES, bring the binder. Patients who do come prepared to be a partner in their care are welcome at Mayo Clinic. Wouldn't you agree, @amandaburnett @fourof5zs @lisafl @debbraw? What tips would you offer?

Let me connect you with other EDS members and discussions that I think you'll find helpful. Ready? It's going to be a lot of links and info.
Connect with other members, like @lisafl @kariulrich @blossom2016, talking about Ehlers-Danlos syndrome here:

– Possible Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome with craniocervical instability https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/possible-ehlers-danlos-syndrome-with-craniocervical-instability/

@lisafl is a Mayo Florida patient.
@katemschultz posted a similar message as you did when she was preparing for her first EDS visit to Mayo in Rochester

You said that you just have the one appointment at 7 am. Did they mention that depending on the results of that consult whether you might have additional tests or appointments? Did you get information about how long to expect your day to be tomorrow?

I was only told that I'd have the one appointment and nothing was mentioned about additional testing or appointments. I'm not too sure what to expect
