@colely @auntieoakley @kilh Update: I had a cortisone injection recently and it has really helped. The constant, distracting pain is pretty much gone. I'll be seeing a physical therapist soon to learn some coping strategies and keep up my muscle strength, although I don't expect to cure the condition that way. (@igl Thank you for the suggestion. I did try the "spider" exercise at one point and found it excruciating. It's not right for me.)

I am so glad the injection helped you. I hope you have continued healing.

@russet3 Thanks for your reply. I am glad your pain is getting less. Due to my hospital journey, I am now 7 months behind on my shot. Boy, am I paying for that now. That is missing almost three shots. Started PT with Mercy Virtual at home. She brought up the spider exercise and how good it is for my ROM. I really need to get to my Ortho doc for my shot, due every three months. PT does really help but have to keep it up and not stop, continuing it at home is good.
Stay healthy and it will get better in time. KLH
