About to start Prolia: What's your experience?

Not by choice, but I went 14 years with osteoporosis and no meds. Long story. Those years included 5 years on cancer meds that increase bone loss. I am finally on Tymlos. To be honest, I can't even hope for scores like yours! You have done a great job preventatively. I wonder if taking Reclast, which lasts longer in the body, could enable you to take a break. I don't really know but maybe you could ask-? Good luck! ps tai chi kept me a little safer for a long time

I am sorry you went through this. I try to stay positive. I am working on my acceptance. It is very difficult at times. I was thinking of tai chi .
How are you doing on Tymlos? I was going to ask her about that. I had neck surgery at 43. . The neurologist at that tike said my inside are like I am 80 . I see what he means now. Not to get into it but they believe my bone loss is cortisone related. I am not sure if Reclast is do able now since I was on Fosamax 5 years. The same family of drugs. I believe you need a drug holiday to continue this family.
