10 years cancer free on Saturday October 25!🙏
5 years on tamoxifen , finishing up 5 years of Arimidex…. I feel great!
Have had little side effects thank God… my advice is stay away from added sugar, and keep your weight down! Exercise or at least walk! Estrogen and sugar is no no for breast cancer!!! Limit alcohol and pray always!
I am nervous to go off these meds bc I believe they have kept me cancer free!
I will be trying Evista at the end of my Arimidix journey!💓🙏

Wow, happy 10 year mark! That's encouraging for more people than you might realize and undoubtedly very encouraging for you personally. I know medical care helped a lot but congratulations to you for staying the course. A retired breast cancer surgeon told me that, in her opinion, if she could only persuade patients to make one dietary change, it would be to eliminate sugar. As someone with a nasty sweet tooth, it's a challenge but I'm telling myself it gets easier and am sure it will.

It is hard! For me it was the carbs like chips and such… which, as we know turns to sugar in our bodies!
All we can do is try… any change is a good change, even if it’s just a little!
Stay well and pray always💓🙏

GO YOU! Wonderful news! 🌸

So happy for you! Just amazing!! Did you have mastectomy or lumpectomy?

Just watched this beautiful documentary. Please watch it!
