@pdrago1955 I see you have been a member here for several years, but I still would like to welcome you to Mayo Clinic Connect.
Juggling multiple conditions as you and I do, can be quite the balancing act, don't you agree? Being in Stage 4 of CKD you are probably under the care of a nephrologist, and satisfied with the care and follow-up you are receiving from them. Are they answering all your concerns? What are they saying about the uremic neuropathy as related to your kidney disease? Have you considered being placed on the transplant list?
Was the lymph node cancer a metastasis from another source? I agree with @hopeful33250 about getting an appointment to check for your cancer status. It's important to be informed where you are at now, to have a clear picture.
What I am reading sounds like you don't have much use of your left arm and shoulder. Have you considered getting a referral to physical therapy? Starting with gentle massage that might "loosen up" the area, and unfreeze the muscles, it might take a long while, but would be worth it! And to regain any movement would be uplifting for your spirits. I know it helped me before, and looking beyond the physical changes was positive.
Do you have any questions for me?
Ginger
Hi Ginger.......fortunately I have been feeling pretty well considering my health status. Getting appts at Mayo are quite difficult.....few n far between, it seems. I have constructed a long list of questions for my next visits to the Neurologist, on November 9th and an upcoming Nephrologist visit, hopefully in first part of December. I am a patient of Dr. Iasmina Craicci.
I dont remember who my oncologist was from 2012 , I will have to look at my records, I gyess. I just had a "Colo-guard" test done which came back clean.
You are very kind for taking an interest in my progress.
Thank you very much and may God bless you n yours.❤
