The bivalent vaccine contains two components of SARS-CoV-2 virus, one of the original strain of SARS-CoV-2 and the other one of the BA.4 and BA.5 lineages of the omicron variant.

Thanks for the move. I LOVE the Mayoclinic Connect website! It's sooo helpful. I've been looking for weeks to find any (and I do mean any) info on long covid and new booster with no luck. It's nice to hear from people in the same "boat" and how they are dealing. Much appreciated.
