What about the fact that Dupuytren's disease causes early death and makes one more prone to cancer? I guess there will be no more pain or cancer when early death strikes!

Wow, I never heard either of those risks associated with Dupuytrens. Can you cite a source for that information?
I suppose it could be theorized that there is a higher risk since Dupuytrens is more common in people who have been long time smokers and heavy consumers of alcohol.

I never heard of that. Northern European descent is another risk factor. My sister has it and doesn't drink or smoke but is of European descent .
