When my Mom had CHF, we were instructed to weigh her at the same time each day, and report any weight changes in excess of (I think) 5 pounds immediately to the doctor. Have you been given any such directive? At first on Lasix, weight should fall, then stabilize.

Yes he was prescribed a diuretic. Get his weight in the morning as soon as he wakes up. The weight change should be reported if is 2 lbs in 24hrs. His weight so far is in his usual pounds. After losing so much water his legs went back to normal and he can stand up better and walk short distances better. His BP x 4 id taken every day. Plus he is taking Lipitor. Thanks
