What an encouraging report! I had exactly the opposite experience years ago - they kept treating my spine and nothing worked - then they found my hips were completely eroded by arthritis. The doc called them "85 year old hips" - only I was 54.

I do have spinal problems too, and keep them under control with stretching and exercise, combined with a periodic "tune-up" by my therapist.

Do you have a home stretching and exercise program to follow?

I’m glad the injection worked for you. I DO also have osteoarthritis of the hip. But following my spine diagnosis and referral, PT has been miraculous for me. Also I practice yoga 2x week, as well as stretching on the days I don’t go to PT.
