Hi, I am having the same problem as you...and I had my surgery at the same time. I'm 8 weeks out and having soreness, a deep aching pain in and around the hip joint. I didn't have it before, it started about 2 weeks ago. I thought I had an infection, but the incision looks fine. I talked to the PT about it and messaged my doctor's office. No one seems concerned but that doesn't help my frustration and my depression that comes with this new added pain. No one seems to know if I have an infection or not, which is annoying for me. If anyone has a suggestion for how to test this I'd appreciate knowing about it. I also thought it seemed worse after PT and that they were working me too hard, so I backed off the exercising a bit but the pain continues. I feel the same as you, I thought the recovery would be smoother....Good luck, I hope you get answers.
