Zofran should not be used for long, according to my doc.

I had nausea for awhile but it faded. I switched to morning and take calcium 2-3 hours before (someone suggested not taking it closer). I eat a half sandwich just before the shot.

Are you taking a full dose? Try going to a half dose (4 clicks of the pen) and move up slowly. At each level wait until this side effect is better.

I have been on Tymlos for a year and at first spent time in bed after the shot. Strangely, I have felt better the last three months after getting active right after the shot.

Everyone is different. Bottom line is that we need this med at this point. After fracturing I will go through just about anything to stay on it! But luckily at 7 clicks I am now fine. Still cannot do 8.

Gratefully I can now understand my morning stomach restlessness. My a.m. med schedule is
6:00 a.m. - 40mg diuretic, omeprazolee and 650 tylenol. ( I usually fall back to sleep!) 8:00 a.m. begins with my injection of TYMLOS, eye drops, Cosopt inhaler and nine various pills. I also have G.E.R.D. which complicates the picture.
My undescribable stomach upset began 1 yr after back surgery and diagnosis of severe osteoporosis. My stomach and throat are dry and feel full and scream at me "No food or water!"
My bones look like Swiss cheese ergo the need for Tymlos.
I sit at my computer for a couple of hours until my body is ready for the day.
I learned from your heartfelt post My big mistake with Tymlos. I'll have the nurse redo the order plus breakfast
I take my calcium at noon.
I need to rethink my food and pill schedule
